Major Historical and Ceremonial Milestones
Key historical activities mark the formal establishment of the unit. The Foundation stone (BHUMIPUJAN) was laid in 2023 by Swamy Sadhanananda, Secretary of BSS, NE. The official opening ceremony took place in 2024, on the auspicious day of Dhanteras, performed by MLA Hon’ble Jeetu Goswami and guided by Swamy Sadhanananda, who also conducted the rituals. The overall project, known as ‘A ROOF FOR THE TRAMP / VAGRANT HOME’ or ‘Grihoheen er griho’, was envisioned by the young sanyasi, Sishir Maharaj, who is working diligently to ensure its success.
